I’m from the Philippines. In my homeland, I served as a physics and chemistry teacher. Throughout my life, I've been deeply involved in working with children. I have my Early Childhood Education Level 3.
I derive genuine fulfillment from nurturing and guiding each child as they progress in various aspects of their development – socially, cognitively, motor skills, and emotionally.
My guiding principle is rooted in the belief that every child is unique, and they flourish at their own individual pace. Whispering Hills Daycare Society holds a special place in my heart, and I consider myself fortunate to collaborate with such devoted educators.
Beyond my passion for early childhood education, I have a love for travel, dance, and the art of creating things from scratch

My passion has always been for educating and working with children. I’ve always been committed towards to the children’s success, I am here to guide, support, and inspire the children every step. I currently have my level 2 in Early Learning & Child Care, Flight Framework course as well as my Standard First aid.
My goal is to encourage socialization, fine and gross motor skills to the children to help them build strong coordination skills. Gross motor skills play a role in the overall physical development of the children such as tie their own shoes, zip up their jackets, assemble puzzles and develop other skills through play!

Witnessing their journey of learning and growth as they explore and interact with the world around them is truly rewarding. Outside of my work, I relish spending my free time fishing, camping, and boating with my family and friends during the summertime

I graduated from northern lakes college with my level wo in Early Learning and Childcare. I love coming into work everyday and seeing all my tiny friends. I am so lucky to be able to call this my career. Some of our favourite activities to do would be painting (anythig and absolutely everything), building forts, and ging on nature walks

My career with WHDCS started with a practicum between all their centers, I was taking my early learning and child care certificate. When my practicum ended I was hired on part time to work at the OSC. I soon ended up switching back and forth between all age groups, helping when I was needed for support. I finished my Certificate in 2022 and then started to work full time. During this time I mostly worked at the university and the multiplex sites. Then I moved and started working as a kinder care lead in Edmonton. This was a lot of fun and I learnt a lot during this time as an educator. It made me miss it here and the connections I've made with the kids and families. Since I came back to WHDCS I've been working full time. Well going to school part time for my early learning and child care diploma. I’ve worked at all the sites and ended up back with the OSC. I’m so excited to see them grow into mighty learners.
I love working with children, and seeing them learn new things everyday. Children need the assurance of being loved, and cared for while they are in an educational environment. Teaching children is my passion. Security and trust are very important components as well as the relationship with each child and family. I believe children learn through play. I will provide opportunities for children to explore, discover, create, and imagine. As I value and develop each child’s individual strengths, interest, skills, abilities and knowledge to extend their learning.
A little bit about myself. I have been working with children for a little over a year now. I always said since I was a little girl that I would never work with children but then I found myself in a job working with children and I fell in love, when I found daycares I knew that this was what I wanted to do in life.

I have my level one in childcare and I plan to continue my education in childcare and start my level two within the next year.
I started working at Whispering Hills Day Care in May of 2023. I am currently at the university site working with ages 12 months to 3 years old. I love this center because I get to experience all of the special moments and milestones that come with the first few years of their life. I love watching the children discover their personalities. These children help me grow every single day and I am so thankful to be a part of their lives.

I first started to work with kids when I was twelve (basically a child myself!) by doing babysitting. Since then I’ve completed my Level 1 in early childhood and development, I have also started courses towards my level 2! (I’m also a certified health care aide!) When I’m not at work I’m almost always with my dog, Aspen. When the weather is nice we’re outside! Ganging around at the dog park or going to the lake. But if it’s cold out then I’ll be found bundled up inside reading or doing a craft of some kind.

I have always cared for children, including my siblings and cousins, back in the Philippines since I am the eldest child. It’s deeply fulfilling to witness their growth and development, and being involved in their journey brings me great joy. I always look forward to coming to work to engage with the kids and help them develop their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive skills. In my free time outside of work, I enjoy reading books, watching TV series or travelling.
