We are always looking for caring and supportive individuals with an interest in Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC).

We provide access to a basic child care course giving new staff members a foundation to build upon their ELCC knowledge. Completing this training awards staff with their Child Development Assistant Certificate and is eligible for credits at the at the high school level!
If you are enrolled in post secondary courses and are looking for a fun and engaging environment to complete a field placement contact us today! We are always open to having students in our programs enhancing their education and experience and enriching our programs.

Management Team

  1. Our executive director is a qualified and committed early childhood educator with 10 years of early learning and child care experience. She has worked on many levels of early childhood education completing placements in various child care environments, running a preschool room with a focus on learning through play and has been managing our Society since 2014.

  2. The Director of Programs has a diploma in Early Learning and Child Care from Okanagan College and specializes in working with children with diverse needs. She has experience in inclusive programming and program planning for children 0-12 years of age. She began her journey with us in 2015 working as an Inclusive Child Care Worker and has since accepted the position of Program Director.

  3. Kelsey received her diploma for Early Childhood Education in 2009 and since then she has had the opportunity to have many different experiences in the child care field. From working in Family Community Support Services in Edmonton, Ab and Leduc County, working for 2 years on Disney Cruise lines as a Youth staff and Training Coordinator, to working Overseas in Australia in a child care setting. Kelsey has been with our Society since 2014.

Our Educators

Early Learning and Child Care is provided by educators with Early Childhood Development Certificates and/or who are enrolled in Early Learning and Child Care courses. The staff routinely attend conferences and workshops to enhance their professional development.

We have a strong and dedicated Board of Directors made up of parents, guardians and community members with a vested interest in our Society's Mission. Our board members have over 20 years of experience with Whispering Hills Day Care Society between them and work in tandum with our Executive Director to continuously assess and improve our services.
